I like how you describe your internal struggle with this. There's something very meaningful in it, which reminds me of the "dark night of the soul" concept. Thank you for sharing!

By the way, I'm not sure if you were intending to quote Dan Boccia on a few of those last lines, but I thought I would offer up the whole thing here for everyone's enjoyment :P...

"The tango trance.

Seek it, and it will elude you.
Talk about it in too much detail.
and it will haunt you evily.
Live for it, and you will die many deaths

Treasure it, but don't hold onto it.
Dance with love and freedom.
and it will embrace you.
Be vulnerable, and feel it's power."

Richard,
Finally checking out the site....it's great. Really love the article on Gavito and the architectural photos. Marcela is finally here. Lu and I were over at the house for a visit last night and she and Ezequiel are teaching today. I'll let you know what's going on and perhaps you can come down...it's so much warmer here, like 20-25! I'm going to try to come up for Alicia in Feb. I'd love to see her and I may not be able to make it to her weekend in Indy. Lu will be in BsAs so it would just be me. Keep in touch and keep up the good work on this site.
